January and February...

Two weekends ago, we joined our friends and took Midnight Sun to Clipper cove anchorage at Yerba Buena island. It's the island that connects Oakland and San Francisco. The marina is the Treasure island side which is connected by a small isthmus to Yerba Buena island.

That weekend we went ashore and visited The Winery. Here we bought and enjoyed a bottle of sparkling wine and a bottle of their 2008 Cab.
It's always nice to enjoy and share a good bubbly and a nice Cabernet with friends. For Lenard and I, it was a half hour ride to the anchorage.

It was a fun 3-day weekend even with the rain the next evening. It's all about relaxation and spending time with friends.
